Print this. Then argue about it in discovery, not on launch night. It supports the Shopify migration service and the WooCommerce guide in this cluster.
Data
- Product counts (simple vs variable) documented.
- Images named and not hotlinked from the old host.
- Customers: marketing consent recorded separately from account login.
- Orders: historical vs open orders treated as different jobs.
- Gift cards, store credit and subscriptions given an explicit plan.
SEO
- URL inventory exported from Search Console and the old sitemap.
- Redirect table reviewed by a human, not only generated.
- Canonical strategy written down.
- New sitemap URL known before DNS changes.
Storefront and ops
- Theme on unpublished preview, not edited live at 11pm.
- Payment, tax and shipping tested with real SKUs.
- Apps installed because they are needed, not because they were on WooCommerce.
- Staff 2FA and permissions set.
- 404 monitoring for the first two weeks.
If a row on this list is “we will see,” you are not ready to change nameservers.
